Our next retreat
Thorpeness - 20 to 23 November 2026.
3 nights on the Suffolk coast.
An intimate retreat with a private chef, wine, an optional walk and yoga, in a different corner of the country.
12 guests, max.
Good food, good company and nothing you need to do.
What to expect:
Arrive on Friday afternoon, find your room and settle in before a welcome dinner with wine, meet the other guests and then find a space to get comfortable with your knitting. From there the days are largely yours, with a few gentle things on offer and plenty of time to knit, read, walk to the sea or not go very far at all.
The house
ARC Thorpeness sits in a small seaside village on the Suffolk Coast & Heaths, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We will spend most of our time knitting on the 5th floor living room, taking in panoramic views of the surrounds. The grade 2 listed water tower has been thoughtfully converted by ARC with retreats in mind. Each room has its own bathroom so your space will be your own.
